Education is one of the basic and essential needs and legal rights of each child. The International Law states and affirms that each child must be given the right to basic human needs including protection, food, shelter, education, medicine and life. Unfortunately, children of Sudan do not enjoy these lawful/ legal rights especially in regions that are devastated by the civil war which killed thousands of innocent lives, destroyed the education facilities, villages, farms/food, and livestock, forced and displaced children into the neighboring countries or took refuge in caves or forests. SUCHM is highly concerned with children in the war affected areas and is committed to providing education for the displaced children in all levels of education namely: Kindergarten, Primary, High secondary, and College. In addition, SUCHM is also concerned with the spiritual life of the non-churched children who will receive assistance. Through education SUCHM shall show the love of Christ in action and in practical ways which will open doors for building relationships with families and then share the good news of Jesus Christ with them.
